The calm waters off the Kona Coast on the Big Island are famous for big Pacific blue Marlin, as well as Yellow fin Tuna (Ahi), Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Dorado (Mahi-Mahi), Wahoo (Ono), and Spearfish - no matter the time of year. Fishing in Hawaii is great year round!
Departing from: Honokohau Harbor or Kona Pier
Charters depart from Honokohau Harbor in Kona, where the waters are calmer and the fish are always biting! Charters can be 4, 6 or 8 hours in duration, generally departing between 6AM - 6:30AM, with the occasional opportunity to depart a bit later for the 4 hour charters.
Please keep in mind that the Fishing Charters that we work with are Coast Guard Certified to take a maximum of 6 passengers.
